Stuck in a Rut

Wow, every time I log in to my blog there’s a new update to download and mess up my database. So you know what, fuck you update, fuck you.

Anyway, back to me.

I’ve the strange feeling I am teetering on the edge of a rut and depending on what I do in the next couple of months: I’m either going to fall in to this rut and never EVER get out; or I’m going to avoid the rut, change my life completely and potentially be very happy or very sad.

The thing with this rut is, it’s comfortable. It’s familiar. I’m pretty happy with my life at the minute. I get paid a pretty decent wage and don’t have all that much to pay out. But I’m getting bored of my job. There’s so much hassle for so little recognition. I’ve been trying to keep involved with the web design team but they keep messing me about and pushing the catch up session back.

Argh, I don’t really know what I’m trying to say, I’m just fed up. And bored. And I wish I didn’t live so far away from Abi. But if I’ve learnt anything over the last couple of years is that I don’t always get what I want (unfortunately).

I’m going to try and update my blog more often, but I do update Twitter quite a lot so you can generally keep up to date with me there. One thing I’ve decided I want to do more is take lots more photos of my day to day stuff. I always have a camera on me, so why not use it?!?!?!

I really want to get my tattoo sorted, but I’m too scared to. I think I could go get it booked, but I want to make sure Abi is ok with it because she said she wanted to get hers at the same time. I’m going to get a 5 point star on my calf as my first one for a few reasons:
- It’s a safer bet then my forearm at work
- It’s more muscle so shouldn’t hurt as much as my forearm
- Can get it out for Leeds Fest!

I’ve bought myself an iPhone docking station today, gonna buy a composite cable tomorrow so that I can plug it in to my TV. Just means I can watch films and stuff (mainly South Park) on my TV rather then just on my laptop

This Weekend…

… has been pretty cool so far.

Went out last night and got pretty damn drunk. Yay!

Then went to Wakefied today to hang out with Ryan. We went to Burger King (awesome hangover food), then around Xscape before going back to Ryan’s to play FIFA and watch the Argentina v Germany game. Shame zee Germans won, Messi didn’t get to score in the world cup. But oh well, never mind. Holland are still in it. This ish good, ya? haha
